These terms govern the WebIPTV app on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. They are identical to the terms shown inside the app under Settings → Legal.
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms govern the use of the WebIPTV app on all devices. By installing, tapping “Agree” or continuing to use the app you enter into a binding agreement on these terms. We may update the terms; material changes are shown in the app and take effect upon renewed acceptance or continued use.
2. Licence
You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial, revocable licence to use the app. Reverse engineering (except where the law permits it), sublicensing, rental and any redistribution of the app or its components are prohibited.
3. Your obligations
The app is intended for adults (17+). You use the app in compliance with applicable law and guarantee that you hold the necessary rights or permissions for every source and all content you add and play. You are responsible for your access credentials and for use on your devices.
4. Content and sources
WebIPTV is a media player only: the app delivers, hosts and sells no content, channels or playlists and stores no played content. Third-party content remains protected by copyright and the property of its rights holders. Using the app to watch, stream, make publicly available, record, reproduce or redistribute content without authorisation is prohibited. Adult content is excluded at ingest and can never be activated.
5. Third-party services and their terms
Metadata (posters, descriptions, TV guide, sports data) and the sports highlights come from third parties; the full list with the licence each one is used under is in the app under Settings → Data sources. By using these features you also accept the terms of the providers behind them, and you agree to use them only as those terms allow. This applies in particular to the sports highlights, which play in the official YouTube player: for them the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) apply in addition to these terms. The other providers’ terms: themoviedb.org/api-terms-of-use, tvmaze.com/api, thesportsdb.com/docs_terms_of_use.php, football-data.org/about, openligadb.de. There are no partnerships with any of these providers; we use their public interfaces on their terms, and we take no responsibility for the content, availability or practices of third parties and linked sites.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design and its marks remain with the provider or their respective rights holders. Bundled open-source components are governed by their own licences (Settings → Open-source licences).
7. Warranty, liability, indemnity
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties — in particular none regarding availability, quality or legality of third-party sources. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect and consequential damages is excluded. You indemnify the provider against third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms or from your sources and content.
8. Term and termination
You may stop using and delete the app at any time. We may terminate the licence upon breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature survive (in particular sections 4, 6 and 7) survive termination.
9. Final provisions
If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in force. Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence remain unaffected.
10. Subscriptions and purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled through your App Store account; Apple’s terms apply in addition. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated price unless cancelled in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A free trial ends when the subscription starts or is cancelled; any unused part is forfeited when a subscription is purchased. The lifetime purchase is one-time and does not renew. Management and cancellation happen exclusively in the App Store settings of your Apple Account.
